Andover Home Inspections’ 10-Point
Inspection Technique* utilizes a truly state-of-the-art home
inspection software system and covers the following:
- Roof
Roofing material, chimney, flashing, and other roof-related issues including
skylights and other roof penetrations, roof vents, plumbing vents, roof drainage
system, dormer siding and flashing, and signs of leaking on building components.
- Exterior
An examination of the siding and trim, exterior doors and windows, bulkhead doors
and basement windows. The foundation is inspected for voids, cracks, bowing and
settlement. Decks, porches and patios are inspected as well as the electrical
service, the garage and garage door operations, outbuildings, grading, and grounds.
- Grounds
Grading, drainage, vegetation, walkways, driveways, and retaining walls.
